Summertime = Blog Slacker

So, my summertime blogging has slacked a little (okay, a LOT), but we are having so much fun and rarely home - and when we are home, there are more pressing things to do than blog, though sometimes I'd RATHER be blogging!!!!! Anyhow, I had full intentions to catch up this weekend while I was at the beach for my sister's Bachelorrette party, but I couldn't get any Internet access - so I read some books and relaxed!

We had a great time celebrating Katie's last horrah before she gets married next weekend!!! We went to Cobalt's for dinner, then to Rum Runners at the Wharf where they "Roasted" Katie up on stage with the dual pianos!!!!! It was LOTS of fun - especially all the "Things" she had to do! I'll leave that up to your imagination!!!!! Then we headed to the Flora-Bama - which was my first time - and probably my last!!!!!

I only missed the children an eency weency teeeny tiny bit - especially when I saw little ones on the beach having the time of their lives - and when I talked to Emma Claire on the phone and she said in her saddest voice, "I sure hope you're having fun at the beach, mommy - wish I could be there!!!!"
Back at home now, things are normal and crazy!!!!
We had planned on going to the pool today, but dark clouds and a little thunder dampened that idea quickly - and the fact that Henderson was still asleep at 3:45 in the afternoon - 6 hours after he went down for his nap - REALLY, I'm SERIOUS - and I had to go wake him up! I would have been worried, except for the fact that last week on 3 days his naps were 4 hours, 5 hours and 5 1/2 hours - this kid LIKES to sleep!!!

Emma Claire and Wilson did some painting today....

Then helped me bake a cake....

Then I fixed dinner, which they ate, and while I was cleaning up the kitchen I turned around and found this....

Look who has learned how to climb up on the kitchen table all by himself and likes to steal his sister's grape tomatoes and stuff them in his mouth - I thought Emma Claire was the only child who LOVED cherry tomatoes, but perhaps Henderson has joined her ranks!!!!

Then I discovered the dance-off that was going on in the den after bath time to the Baby Einstein movie!!!!

I Love You Summertime!!!!!
