Farewell!

I am giving thanks to God today as we say farewell to President George W. Bush. He's not been a perfect president, but who has? He HAS kept my family and I safe for the last 8 years, and for that I am grateful. He has pulled America through some of the toughest and most strenuous times in American history. I thank God that he was a Christian President. Thank you President Bush!

I am also praying for President Barack Obama, as he begins his presidency tomorrow. He was not my choice, but he is my President, so I will be faithful to pray for him and his family. I pray that he will surround himself with people who will seek the guidance of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that God will work through him to make America an even better place to live!
(and besides, I can't wait to see all the cute outfits Michelle wears and how they deal with 2 very young girls in the White House!)
Happy Day to you all!

I so agree with you, I am very grateful to George W. Bush and his family, they have served us to the best of their abilities. I know that he did honor and glorify God with his service.

I am also praying for our new president, I pray that he will have a close walk with God as he leads us.

It is time for America to bless God, God has certainly blessed us with the greatest country in the world. I pray that we will repent from our sin and turn towards him.

God bless you and your family. You young mothers are a blessing to all!!!!

Amen! Oh, and no, only Anna is doing ballet right now (mommy and me @ abj). Mary Mac had a melt-down back in November and said she did not want to go back - I think I posted on that, but I can't remember. BUT, we did not get out in time to cancel the costume, so now we will have a very expensive costume for our dress up box!

Great. Great. Great. Very well said. I love the two pictures you chose. Thanks for reminding us to give thanks in all things, and to pray!

What a difference it would make if we would all pray- for him and for the people who surround him.
I agree about "W". I thought he was led by the One that counts!

I would seriously consider putting a leash on your kids at the aquarium. It can get VERY crowded. Try to go in the morning during the week if you can to avoid the crowd.
The aquarium is amazing. Ya'll will have a blast. Make sure to do the 3D show. Your kids will LOVE it.
If you want to do both the aquarium AND the coke museum (in the same day), you can get a combined ticket and save a ton of money. The coke museum isn't as kid friendly..it's a lot of reading.
