Tis' the Season

We've been very busy around our house...getting ready for the Season!

I like to decorate early, so I can truly enjoy the month of December in all it's grandeur! So far, everything is decorated except for the big glass ornament tree and the outside of our house. ( I mean, Seriously, I can share with the whole world via the Internet that my house is already decorated for Christmas, but putting up wreaths and Christmas lights outside for my neighbors to see? No way!) Ha ha!!! My plan is to get the big tree set up Thursday night and then spend Saturday during nap time and game time decorating it with the glass ornaments. THEN I will spend the rest of the weekend telling Henderson, "No, Don't touch!"

The outside of the house will probably be done on Thanksgiving Day. Nearly all the Christmas shopping is done and wrapped, Yipeeeee!!!!

This is just one example of what my children were doing while I was decorating!

That stinky little elf will be making an appearance in a couple of weeks and THEN things will really get crazy! We are hosting Will's work party at our house this year and every weekend from Thanksgiving to Christmas is already nearly full! Whew...I'm already tired just thinking about it all, but fun fun fun!!!!!
When will you begin decorating, or have you already????

It looks great! Can't believe you already decorated and have already done most of your shopping! Way to go!!! I always decorate the few days after Thanksgiving. I just don't feel right doing it before! I can't wait to do it although Im not sure how I'm going to keep Abigail out of the tree!

It is beautiful! I'm with Ivy, we do it the day after Thanksgiving too and all I have energy for is one tree!

I LOVE the Christmas season and love that you start now. I think it's hilarious that you wouldn't dare do anything to the outside for the neighbors to see. That is definitely something I would do too!

Where did you get the adorable stockings?

Oh Kellie! You make me tired just reading. Your house looks gorgeous! I think I asked you last year about those stockings. They are just beautiful! Where did you get them? I am nearly done Christmas shopping but am wondering about decorating with the house on the market. Maybe I should and then it will sell! We're breaking out the elf this year. We've read the book once and I plan to keep reading so when he appears, she will know what it's about.

You definitely make me tired. I still don't know how you get everything done so quickly. You might be the energizer bunny on steroids. The house looks beautiful and I still haven't put up (in boxes) the Halloween stuff yet. Keep up the good work.
